Assignment Description

We are looking for a Thermal Systems Simulation Engineer to support an automotive customer in the Mälardalen region with expertise in BEV thermal management and cooling system simulations.

What You Will Work On

• Perform 1D simulations and analysis of BEV thermal management systems
• Support development and optimization of vehicle cooling systems
• Analyze thermal system performance and energy efficiency
• Contribute to system-level design and validation activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and vehicle development teams
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of thermal system behavior
• Evaluate simulation results and provide engineering recommendations
• Contribute to development of next-generation electric vehicle technologies
• Support CAE-driven product development and engineering decisions

What You Bring

• Experience from the automotive industry
• Strong experience with 1D simulation of thermal management systems within BEV environments
• Knowledge of cooling systems and thermal system behavior for electric vehicles
• Experience working with CAE-driven engineering and simulation methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams
• Technical background within Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related fields
• Experience supporting vehicle development and system optimization activities
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities in technical environments
