Assignment Description

We are looking for an Application / Mechanical Design Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to understand customer requirements and technical specifications
• Translate customer needs into practical engineering and design solutions
• Develop and present customer-specific technical proposals
• Adapt and modify existing mechanical and system solutions
• Perform mechanical design activities using 3D CAD tools
• Create production drawings and technical manufacturing documentation
• Support smooth handover from design to production
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams
• Ensure designs align with manufacturability, quality, and performance requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the product portfolio
• Support engineering documentation and technical clarification activities

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Mechanical Engineering, Machine Engineering, or similar technical field
• Experience from mechanical design, application engineering, or technical documentation roles
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturability
• Good experience working with 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks
• Ability to independently develop technical solutions and documentation
• Strong analytical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work under time pressure and manage technical deliverables
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional engineering environments
• Valid right to work within the EU
