You will help shape the next generation of robot controllers in a robotics environment where mechanical and electrical design come together in real products. The role combines design work, quality focus, and close collaboration with R&D teams, test engineers, production, purchasing, and external design partners. • You will design mechanical and electrical components for a new controller platform, including sheet metal, cabling, connectors, and circuit breakers.
• You will create purchase material, production Bills of Materials, and production assembly drawings.
• You will drive field quality and continuous improvement for both new and existing mechanical and electrical designs.
• You will collaborate closely with R&D teams, module owners, test engineers, production, purchasing, and external design partners.
• You will contribute to prototype work, testing, and broader product and process improvement activities.

• Background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Ability to design components and produce purchase material, production Bills of Materials, and assembly drawings.
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions and make sound technical decisions.
• Enjoy working hands-on with prototypes and testing.
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional development environments.
• Fluency in English.

• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design in Solid Works or similar.
• Knowledge of electrical design in ePlan or similar.
• Swedish language skills.
