You will work in an advanced automotive environment focused on next-generation xEV powertrains and vehicle thermal management. The assignment centers on developing and implementing new in-house application software using Embedded Coder instead of TargetLink, with responsibility across the full chain from requirement breakdown to calibration in vehicle.

The scope covers thermal energy coordination across key powertrain and vehicle systems, including combustion engine, e-machine, transmission, power electronics, battery, and cabin comfort. Depending on your background and interests, you may also contribute to current software, calibration, verification, and future system design for a range of customer applications. This is a great opportunity if you want to combine function development with real vehicle impact in a technically complex domain.

• You will develop and implement application software for thermal management functions in xEV powertrains and vehicles.
• You will work with function development in Simulink, with a focus on the transition from TargetLink to Embedded Coder.
• You will help break down requirements into robust functions and support the path toward final calibration in vehicle.
• You will coordinate thermal control strategies for systems such as the combustion engine, e-machine, transmission, power electronics, battery, and cabin.
• You may also support development of current software, as well as calibration and verification activities in vehicle or test cell.
• You will contribute to system design work for future products and different customer applications.

• You have experience working with thermal management in applications with combustion or electrical powertrains.
• You have experience with function development using Simulink.
• You have worked with Embedded Coder and preferably understand environments that use or have used TargetLink.
• You hold a valid driving license.
• You are fluent in English.

• Experience from calibration of thermal management in applications with combustion or electrical powertrains.
• T1/T2 driving license from Hällered.
