You will join an advanced R&D environment focused on electric motors for industrial robotic applications. In this role, you will work closely with senior technical leadership and contribute to important engineering decisions that shape motor performance, robustness, and long-term reliability.

The assignment covers both analytical and hands-on engineering work across motor selection, evaluation, optimization, testing, and investigation of motor-related issues. You will help define technical requirements, assess design trade-offs, and bring expert insight into how motors behave in demanding applications. • You will support selection, evaluation, and optimization of electric motors.
• You will define and refine technical requirements for motor solutions and related systems.
• You will assess performance, robustness, and reliability in development work.
• You will analyze motor behavior, including torque and speed characteristics, efficiency, energy losses, thermal performance, cooling strategies, and lifetime-related aspects such as wear and degradation.
• You will contribute to root cause analysis for motor-related issues found in development and in the field.
• You will act as a subject-matter expert in technical reviews and design decisions.
• You will support testing, validation, and qualification activities.
• You will provide insight into motor technology trends and supplier capabilities.
• You will collaborate across functions and help guide technical direction with your expertise.

• 8–15+ years of relevant experience within R&D / engineering.
• Deep expertise in electric motors, drivetrains, or electromechanical systems.
• Strong capability in advanced analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence technical decisions.
• Experience acting as a technical expert in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English.
