Job Summary

We are now searching for a DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Development team!

Our Digital Solutions Development team belongs within PS&E Automation & Solution which is responsible for developing new Factory OS™.

This is our next-generation digital ecosystem, built on open, modular smart factory technologies and decades of industry expertise.

You will be based in Modena, Italy or Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global arena.

What you will do

As our new DevOps Engineer you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems for performance and reliability.
• Lead in automating workflows using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
• Develop monitoring and alerting tools enabling proactive support to customer critical infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues alongside other DevOps engineers.
• Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to grow your technical skills.

We believe you have

You have a Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Automation Engineering or equivalent.

Development skills in one object-oriented language like Python, C#, Java, Go and in scripting language like Bash/PowerShell.

Deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes. Virtualizations platforms such as ESXi, Hyper-V.
• CKA/CKAD or Azure certifications is considered as a plus.

You are fluent in English written and spoken.

One of the following languages is considered as a plus: Italian, Swedish.

You have good communications skills, written and spoken.

Previous international studies/experience are considered meritorious.
