ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
- This role supports RGM strategy development and execution for Sweden, acting as a business partner across functions, end markets and categories, provides key commercial insights and recommendations, driving sustainable value growth & helping to embed RGM mindset across organisation.
What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?
- The jobholder will support the Gr 36 RGM Manager in the Area team by analysing the data, providing quality insights based on it & driving RGM agenda across WE.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- The role is supports Senior Commercial Finance Manager with RGM strategy development and execution for across SE: capturing revenue growth opportunities though variety of business initiatives and championing RGM mindset across the organization.
- Drive sustainable net revenue growth in partnership with a cross-functional team: use RGM methodology and tools to develop and influence the strategies to grow revenue and improve profit for the organization though effective management of pricing, assortment and trade investments.
- Work proactively and collaboratively across the organization and provide thoughtful insights on key business decisions.
Identify risks and opportunities and support LT team in delivery of business objectives.
- Work effectively with multiple stakeholders and supporting functions to ensure the achievement of RGM program objectives.
Manage projects related to data and analytics toolkit, collaborate with RGM COE to evolve RGM capabilities at BAT
- Ensure transparent and objective financial insight is provided to support commercial decisions; these include
- Providing pricing-related insights and perspective related to competitor activities, consumer trends and interactions between categories and across price segments
- Monitoring and shaping of Trade Margins working closely with end market teams.
Support major relevant initiatives such as TCI (Total Customer Investment) etc.
- Supporting the Assortment analyses and driving business-relevant recommendations on the matter
- Partner up with relevant stakeholders across functions within SE & W Central Functions to facilitate data collection and invoice generation
- Support of preparation of status updates and presentation to senior stakeholders;
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
Experience Required
- Finance/Marketing professional with experience of at least 3 years within an FMCG organization or Consulting.
Experience in revenue growth management insights and analytics, business intelligence, pricing, promotion, sales analytics, marketing research, consumer insights and/or category management is a plus
- Some experience of leveraging platforms like Power BI, Tableau, etc for generating actionable insights and foresights in above mentioned aspects.
- Basic knowledge of key concepts of data science modelling and statistical analysis, and their application in above mentioned analytics.
- Fluent English: excellent written and verbal communications
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Must have strong analytical skills and business acumen to generate qualitative insights
- Data and insights driven.
Basic understanding of key data science concepts
- Understanding and knowledge of relevant tools and systems (i.e.
BI / Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience in analysing reports and analytics generated by data science and statistical models, and identifying issues, challenges, and opportunities
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and strategy, and market dynamics and their impact on marketing and financial KPIs.
- Fluent English: excellent written and verbal communications
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Degree or MBA in Economics / Finance / Marketing /General management
