Would you like to join us for the summer as a Production Planner at Dellner Couplers in Vika/Falun?

This is a great opportunity for a student who wants to gain experience in planning while working in an international company. We are looking for summer backups from June to August 2026.

Dellner Couplers in Vika, south of Falun, is looking for one Production Planner. We are an expansive and international company that delivers sustainable, innovative, and high-quality products and services to train operators and builders worldwide. Our product line consists of couplers, gangways, and crash management systems for the rail industry.

The Operations and Planning departments are responsible for analyzing, understanding, and controlling the complete flow from sub-suppliers of materials, through transport and stock, to the assembly of finished products. Tasks may include order handling, analyzing delays, and communicating consequences or the need for rescheduling. Our suppliers and customers are both internal and external. The work involves close collaboration with all Dellner’s functions, including subcontractors.

Your role

The role as Production Planner includes monitoring requirements and placing orders for materials according to production needs, ensuring timely deliveries. The responsibility also includes analyzing inventory levels and ensuring that the ERP system is properly configured and set up with the correct master data, thereby enabling intelligent planning.

• You are studying towards a university degree equivalent to a BSc or MSc.
• You speak both Swedish and English and have good communication skills.
• You are quick to learn, driven, service-oriented, and flexible, with strong collaboration skills.
• You have a great sense of responsibility and take ownership of your tasks.

Success factors

• In this role, you need a high work capacity and the ability to plan your work independently.
• You enjoy taking initiative and can quickly prioritize and adjust your level of ambition according to the current needs of the business.
• It is important that you have strong numerical and analytical skills, including good knowledge of MS Excel for data processing.
• Knowledge of M3 or another ERP system is an advantage.
