For our client, we are currently looking for a Senior HR Business Partner based in Gothenburg. This is a full-time assignment expected to start on May 15, 2026, and continue until January 31, 2027.
About the assignmentDo you want to work close to the business and make a real impact on how organizations develop their people and leaders? We are now looking for an experienced and business-oriented Senior HR Business Partner who wants to help drive our client’s HR agenda forward.
In this role, you will be a key partner to our client’s business units. You will work closely with managers and leadership teams, acting as both a strategic and operational partner across all HR-related matters.
You are a trusted advisor who supports leaders in making well-informed decisions regarding people and organization – balancing business needs, employee experience, and compliance.
This is a broad role suited for someone who enjoys variety, from strategic initiatives to hands-on HR work. You will also be responsible for selected HR processes, such as Compensation & Benefits and HR controlling.
Your responsibilities will include:Partnering with managers to drive and develop the HR agenda
Owning and developing core HR processes such as salary reviews, performance management, and talent development
Supporting and leading work within labor law and employee relations, including union negotiations
Acting as an advisor in complex cases and providing solution-oriented guidance
Driving and contributing to initiatives within areas such as work environment, change management, and labor law
Contributing to a strong and consistent leadership culture and an attractive workplace

We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a business-oriented role
Strong knowledge of Swedish labor law
Experience in union negotiations and collaboration with labor organizations
Experience within Compensation & Benefits in a Swedish context
Experience working in an international environment
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Experience from the German market
German language skills
Self-driven, structured, and confident in handling complex situations
Business-oriented and solution-focused with a pragmatic approach
A strong relationship builder who earns trust at all levels
Flexible and comfortable switching between strategic and operational work
