Postdoctoral Immunologist – T-cell Biology / Cell Therapy
Location: Flemingsberg Science Park, Stockholm, Sweden
Circio is currently seeking an experienced Postdoctoral Immunologist with a strong background in T-cell biology. Hands-on experience with both mouse and human experimental systems, supported by relevant peer-reviewed publications, is highly desirable. The successful candidate will join Circio’s expanding R&D department, located at Flemingsberg Science Park in Stockholm, Sweden, and will serve as one of the scientific leaders in the development of Circio’s technology platform and pipeline of drug candidates in T-cell and CAR-T cell therapies.
Responsibilities
· Develop Circio’s in-house capabilities for assessing the performance of circular RNA-encoding vectors in T cells, as well as other immune cell subsets, both in vitro and in vivo
· Establish and support a network of CRO partners to further improve and accelerate the analysis of Circio’s lead drug candidates in the fields of autoimmunity and onco-immunology
· Contribute to drug-candidate conceptualization, design, selection, and prioritization
· Supervise technical assistants and junior scientists with the aim of building a strong immunology division within Circio
· Work closely with management and the broader R&D team to drive the company’s scientific objectives and priorities
Qualifications
· PhD and postdoctoral experience in immunology within academic and/or industrial settings are required
· Proven proficiency in planning and executing a wide range of immunological assays, including flow cytometry (FACS), primary human T-cell isolation, cell culture, and phenotypic/functional characterization
· Experience with molecular biology, protein chemistry, microscopy, and immunohistochemistry is considered an advantage
· Ability to independently process and analyze experimental data, and to present findings, conclusions, and future plans to diverse audiences both within and outside the company
