About the AssignmentYou will join an EE Architecture environment in the automotive industry, where electrical topology, logic architecture, function allocation, system safety and cybersecurity are all closely connected.
The team needs extra strength within Signal Database engineering and is looking for you who can take ownership of the Signal Database across the full development lifecycle.
In this role, you will work close to architecture, embedded development and cross-functional stakeholders to keep the Signal Database aligned with base technologies, processes and standards.
You will also collaborate with international colleagues in an environment where communication systems, interface design and release quality are central.

Job Description- You maintain and develop the Signal Database throughout the full development lifecycle.
- You prepare and deliver SDB packages for each release.
- You support busload analysis and frame-packing work to secure efficient communication performance.
- You work with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet and FlexRay, including frame-packing strategies.
- You handle signal and service interfaces and contribute to robust interface design.
- You contribute to ECU gateway routing strategies and behavior.
- You work hands-on in Capital Networks and SystemWeaver.
- You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders and international colleagues.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience working with automotive signal databases (SDB) and communication systems.
- Strong understanding of automotive EE architecture and embedded system development.
- Knowledge of embedded system and/or software development and/or testing methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of automotive best practices, standards and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet and FlexRay.
- Experience with Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR.
- Hands-on experience with Capital Networks and SystemWeaver.
- Knowledge of busload calculations, frame-packing strategies, and signal and service interface design.
- Experience contributing to ECU gateway routing strategies and behavior.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
- You are comfortable collaborating across teams and navigating ambiguity in a pragmatic and structured way.
