Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Systems Engineer to join their inverter systems team.
This role focuses on system-level design and requirements engineering for inverter technology within advanced electric drive applications.
The position is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in power electronics, system safety, and stakeholder coordination, who can contribute to both design and requirement definition activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system-level design and development activities for inverter systems.
- Gather, analyze, and define system requirements in alignment with project objectives.
- Decompose high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across system, software, and hardware domains.
- Contribute to system safety design in accordance with industry standards.
- Support collaboration with external suppliers, ensuring technical clarity and requirement alignment.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in power electronics system engineering, particularly within inverter design.
- Strong background in both software and hardware aspects of power electronics.
- Experience working with electric drive systems.
- Hands-on experience in requirements engineering and management.
- Familiarity with functional safety and process standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
- Familiarity with CarWeaver or similar system simulation tools
- Knowledge of electric propulsion or drive systems
