About the position

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM/SD Expert with solid expertise in SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA. In this role, you will drive key process improvements across procurement, material planning, logistics, order-to-cash, and distribution workflows. Your contribution will be essential in supporting SSAB’s business operations, increasing process efficiency, and enabling our continued digital transformation.

Main responsibilities

Materials Management (MM)

• Configure and optimize MM processes including purchasing, MRP, goods receipts/issues, stock handling, vendor master data, and invoice verification.
• Support and improve procurement workflows and integration with Finance and Logistics.
• Maintain material master structures and ensure correct process mapping across supply chain operations.

Sales & Distribution (SD)

• Configure and enhance SD processes such as quotations, sales orders, deliveries, transportation, pricing conditions, and invoicing.
• Ensure stable integration with MM, WM, FI, and production-related processes.
• Support global sales flows and help harmonize order-to-cash processes.
• General SAP Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust SAP configurations.
• Perform testing, validation, documentation, and end-user training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in MM and SD modules.
• Work with internal teams and external SAP partners to ensure quality deliveries and long-term stability.
• Contribute to future S/4HANA roadmap discussions and transition activities.

About You

• 3+ years of experience in SAP MM and/or SAP SD (R/3 or S/4HANA).
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, sales, and distribution processes.
• Experience with integration points (MM-SD-FI-PP-WM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured way of working.
• Comfortable in an international environment with strong communication skills.
• Experience with pricing, MRP, batch handling, transportation planning, or stock management is a plus.
