About the roleAs a Senior Test and Verification Engineer at Qbtech, you will join a cross-functional product team focused on mobile solutions, primarily iOS. You will work closely with developers, product owners, UX and other internal stakeholders to ensure high quality throughout both the development and verification processes.

This is a hands-on role where you combine manual and exploratory testing with elements of automation. At the same time, you will work in a regulated MedTech environment where structured testing, documentation and traceability are a central part of the role.

The position is particularly important as Qbtech continues to invest in its mobile area, with new product releases and a growing need for a confident and self-driven tester who takes ownership of quality.

Your primary responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute test activities for Qbtech’s mobile products, primarily iOS, and support testing of web applications when needed.
• Perform exploratory testing, regression testing, integration testing and verification.
• Review requirements and ensure that testing covers both functional needs and regulatory requirements.
• Write and maintain test cases, test protocols and test reports.
• Contribute to formal verification and documentation, including activities that require traceability and sign-off.
• Support release processes and ensure a smooth transition from development to verification and production.
• Contribute to increasing test automation over time.
• Work with APIs and relevant tools to enable efficient testing.

About youYou are an experienced test professional who enjoys working close to the product and taking clear ownership of quality. You have the ability to navigate between agile ways of working and more formal processes where structure, documentation and attention to detail are essential.

You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with different functions across the organisation. You are comfortable asking questions, driving dialogue and contributing to improvements, while maintaining a pragmatic approach to both technology and processes.

You are not expected to know everything from day one, but you have the experience and mindset required to quickly grow into the role and become a trusted and independent owner of testing within the team.

Important for the role

• Several years of experience in software testing, QA or verification, with a focus on mobile testing, preferably iOS.
• Experience with both manual testing and test automation.
• Ability to independently interpret requirements and translate them into structured testing activities.
• Experience with API testing and relevant tools.
• Experience working with tools such as Appium, Playwright or similar.
• Experience working with tools such as Postman, Proxyman, Jama, Jenkins or similar.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Meritorious

• Experience from regulated environments such as MedTech, healthcare, automotive or similar.
• Experience with verification, traceability and sign-off requirements.
• Technical education within Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
