You will join a cross-functional team developing interior electronics for a well-known company in the automotive industry. The focus is on illumination and power outlet solutions, including wireless phone charging, USB and 12V, in an environment where design and technology are evolving quickly.

In this role, you will take ownership of hardware-related questions in development projects and work closely with both internal stakeholders and suppliers to secure high-quality deliveries. You will be part of a team that combines hardware, software, test and lead engineering, with many touchpoints across areas such as interior systems, design, EMC, ergonomics and vehicle engineering.

• You will lead hardware and electronics development within the team and drive the work forward together with suppliers.
• You will help define and refine requirement specifications for new products and functions.
• You will evaluate hardware performance in rigs and in vehicles to secure function and quality.
• You will support test activities and contribute to resolving technical issues during development.
• You will take part in packaging discussions to secure the required space for future vehicle solutions.
• You will work closely with the project leader, software responsible and test engineer in your team.
• You will collaborate with several internal interfaces, including interior, design, EMC, ergonomics, electrical performance, perceived quality and vehicle engineering.

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent technical training and experience.
• 3-4 years of experience in electronic development.
• Experience in electronic requirement management.
• Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• You are structured, detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

• Experience from automotive.
• An interest in cars and driver experience.
