Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and basic exposure to electronics. This role requires a proactive and execution-driven professional who can effectively manage updates and corrections related to manufacturing data and technical documentation.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment of engineering data across systems and documentation, supporting both product and manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret requested modifications related to R&D manufacturing data to ensure accurate implementation
• Perform minor mechanical design updates using tools such as Creo
• Revise and maintain manufacturing documentation to reflect current product configurations
• Manage and update product-related data within PLM systems
• Initiate and coordinate EMS service requests for updates to CAD models and PCB drawings
• Prepare and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in accordance with established procedures
• Lead and facilitate review sessions to validate updated documents and ensure compliance

Required Experience

• Senior-level experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within components or product development
• Exposure to manufacturing environments and engineering data management processes

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CAD tools, particularly Creo
• Experience working with PCB-related documentation and coordination
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• Understanding of Engineering Change Management processes (ECO/ECR)
• Knowledge of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage technical documentation
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and drive tasks to completion
