Job Description

Are you a seasoned SAP professional with deep experience in enterprise transformation and global deployments? Do you want to operate at a larger scale and influence end-to-end business transformation? This role offers the opportunity to shape future-ready enterprise solutions through high-impact S/4HANA programs.

As a Senior Industry Principal / Solution Architect, you will engage across the full transformation lifecycle, collaborating closely with business and IT leaders to define, design, and deliver data-driven, value-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate consulting-led opportunities and thought leadership with key clients

• Co-create next-generation business models and end-to-end processes to drive competitive advantage and cost leadership

• Design and synthesize end-to-end processes across planning, sales, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, plant maintenance, and customer service

• Define transformation roadmaps using SAP best practices, SAP S/4HANA, SaaS LoB solutions, and partner platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft)

• Identify digitization and automation opportunities using AI, Blockchain, IoT, RPA, and advanced analytics

• Lead assessments, due diligences, and transformation workshops

• Support clients in building transformation business cases and value realization models

• Engage directly with senior business stakeholders and communicate in business-led language

• Develop business blueprints, PoCs, transformation plans, change impact assessments, and learning content

• Facilitate and moderate large cross-functional workshops to define vision, requirements, gaps, and risks

• Deliver S/4HANA MVPs, templates, pilots, and scalable enterprise solutions

• Drive business buy-in and adoption of delivered solutions

• Contribute to joint product roadmaps with partners such as SAP and Microsoft

• Provide an independent, experience-based perspective aligned with SAP and broader vendor product strategies

Leadership & Stakeholder Responsibility

You will be supported by a global “A-Team” of experts from the Infosys talent pool. As a senior leader, you will:

• Mentor, guide, and develop team members across geographies

• Act as a hands-on, approachable, and reliable leader

• Represent Infosys as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders

• Bring best-in-class industry practices, data metrics, and multiple solution options to enable informed decision-making

• Deliver harmonized and optimized enterprise solutions aligned with business value

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Enterprise data design expertise: CDM, LDM, PDM, data standardization and harmonization

• Data-driven organization design, including data governance frameworks, roles, and operating models

• Data platform selection and architecture for aggregation, analytics, reporting, and monetization

• Strong familiarity with the SAP product portfolio and SAP consulting landscape

• Deep functional expertise (Finance & Controlling / Manufacturing / Logistics / Sales) or technical expertise (ABAP, UI5, Integration, Security, Basis)

• Strong IT and SAP architecture knowledge

• Business acumen across industries, value chains, financial metrics, and emerging trends

• Proven C-level and senior stakeholder engagement capabilities

• Extensive experience in IT-enabled transformation and operations

• 14+ years of hands-on SAP consulting experience

• Participation in at least 5 end-to-end SAP implementations (new offerings)

• Experience as Architect or Program/Track Lead

• Exposure to at least two project types: Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid

• Transformation preparation / Phase 0 experience

• SAP toolchain usage or administration experience

• Valid SAP certification(s)

• Strong client-facing presence, communication, and presentation skills

• Solution proposal development and estimation expertise

• Ability to multitask, work collaboratively, and lead with a winning mindset

Preferred Skills

• Exposure across multiple SAP modules and domains

• Experience in SAP Sales and Service Delivery roles

• Prior business-domain experience before IT

• External publications or thought leadership in relevant domains

• Exposure to non-SAP platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft ecosystem)
