Are you a Function Owner looking for your next career step?

We are now looking for an experienced Function Owner for one of our big clients in the the automotive industry. In this position, you will drive the development and implementation of advanced connected services, ensuring seamless integration with vehicle systems and compliance with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the End User Function (EUF) requirements for connected vehicle functions.
• Analyze function needs based on use cases, technology development, project prerequisites, features, and regulations.
• Specify EUF requirements in terms of customer needs and system behavior, covering all product variations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to secure commitment and alignment on EUF requirements.
• Lead functional safety activities for the function.
• Contribute to the development of Verification & Validation (V&V) plans alongside verification engineers.
• Define and maintain the function roadmap (short- and long-term).
• Report and communicate the EUF maturity, progress, and status.
• Establish a function delivery plan, including verification and validation activities.

Who You Are:

• Education: BSc or MSc in Electrical/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience:
• Strong background in automotive and heavy vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) and HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 or other functional safety standards.
• Experience with tools such as Vector tools and System Weaver is advantageous.
