You will work across functions and regions, connecting sales expectations, product life cycle decisions, and planning assumptions into one clear and reliable demand forecast.
You will play a key role in improving how demand is validated, challenged, and translated into decisions on availability, inventory, and priorities.
The role combines analytical depth with broad stakeholder interaction, and gives you the chance to influence both forecasting quality and the way the planning organization works.

Job Description- You will lead the end-to-end demand planning process, from statistical forecasting to validation and delivery of a complete unconstrained demand forecast.
- You will work closely with sales, product management, production, purchasing, and other stakeholders to align planning inputs and create a clear demand picture.
- You will challenge expectation-based inputs in a constructive way and help ensure that forecast assumptions are realistic and well grounded.
- You will integrate product life cycle considerations such as phase-in and phase-out into the forecast together with relevant stakeholders.
- You will connect demand insights with risks, opportunities, and planning assumptions, and build scenarios that support informed decision-making.
- You will analyze trends, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions linked to forecasting performance and KPI management.
- You will support communication around demand performance to create transparency and avoid surprises across the stakeholder community.
- You will contribute to stronger demand planning capability by aligning ways of working, supporting best practices, and promoting consistent use of tools and documentation standards.
- You will drive continuous improvements in forecasting processes and system utilization to increase accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
Requirements- Experience working with demand planning in regional or global environments.
- Ability to apply statistical forecasting methods, scenario planning, and commercial input in a structured way.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and root causes, and turn insights into actionable plans.
- Confidence working in demand planning modules within Advanced Planning Systems.
- Good understanding of S&OP processes and how to support alignment across functions.
- Ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, influence stakeholders, and challenge constructively.
- A structured and proactive way of working, with the ability to stay organized in a dynamic environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset and interest in standardization and process development within planning or supply chain.
- Advanced education or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice to have- Education focused on operations, planning, logistics, or analytics.
- Basic understanding of statistics, forecasting methods, or data analysis through formal education or equivalent training.
