Role: Collaboration / Microsoft 365 Architect

Technology/Experience Required: Extensive IT experience with strong expertise in Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies and enterprise architecture.
Job Description
As a Collaboration / Microsoft 365 Architect, the primary responsibility is to design, govern, and optimize M365 collaboration platforms while ensuring secure, scalable, and user‑centric solutions for enterprise customers.
The role involves architectural guidance, L3 support, governance definition, ServiceNow ticket oversight, and close collaboration with business, security, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Platform Design
Ticket Oversight & Problem Management
Exchange Online
· Architect and troubleshoot:
o Mail flow and transport rules
o Shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and M365 Groups
· Hybrid mail flow and coexistence scenarios
· Handle advanced issues such as non‑delivery reports, spam/phishing investigation, journaling, and retention policies.
Microsoft Teams
SharePoint Online & OneDrive
Security, Compliance & Governance
Automation & Optimization
Stakeholder Collaboration
Experience
· 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong focus on Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
· Proven experience handling enterprise‑scale M365 tenants.
· Excellent customer engagement, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience working in ITIL / ITSM environments.
Technical Skills
· Expert‑level knowledge of Microsoft 365, including:
o Exchange Online
o Microsoft Teams
o SharePoint Online
o OneDrive
o Entra ID (Azure AD)
· Strong PowerShell scripting skills for M365 administration.
· Solid understanding of:
· Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is an added advantage.
Qualifications & Certifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
· Preferred certifications:
o Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
o Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
o Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
o ITIL Foundation (preferred)
