About us
A concentrated, ultra hands-on VC fund building world-changing companies with Europe’s best scientists and engineers.
Norrsken Launcher is an impact deep tech VC fund – part of the Norrsken ecosystem – investing in early-stage companies that can transform the future for people and the planet. We partner with world-class scientists and engineers to industrialize, commercialize, and scale groundbreaking technologies.
We’re a close-knit team of company builders and operators, bringing an entrepreneurial spirit to every project we back. With a combined track record of founding, funding, or building 16 unicorns, we’re now channeling that expertise toward solving humanity’s biggest challenges.
We invest in 1–3 companies per year and get deeply operationally involved working side-by-side with founders for 6–9 months, in a way most VCs can’t.
Our portfolio includes game-changing companies in next-generation diagnostics, stem cells, small nuclear reactors, plastic alternatives, textile recycling, hydropower, and clean air technologies.
Our team is now expanding with an Impact Lead, as our current Impact Manager transitions into the investment team.
About the role
As Impact Lead at Norrsken Launcher, you will ensure that impact is deeply integrated into everything we do - from how we evaluate investments to how we support founders and measure results. You will own and shape our impact strategy and reporting framework, ensuring that our ambition to back world-changing companies is matched by rigor, credibility, and measurable outcomes.
This is not a compliance-only role. You will operate at the intersection of investment, strategy, and regulation, helping bring structure and clarity to how we assess impact and track progress across the fund and portfolio.
You will be responsible for building and continuously improving our Article 9 impact infrastructure, leading SFDR reporting, and driving impact due diligence in new investments. At the same time, you will work closely with founders to translate bold impact theses into measurable KPIs and scalable systems, and shape how we communicate our impact to LPs and the broader ecosystem - through reporting, insights, and thought leadership.
The role combines regulatory understanding, analytical rigor, commercial judgment, communication skills and pragmatism. You will help ensure that impact is fully embedded in our investment decisions - not treated as a parallel process.
The role is full-time based in Stockholm at the Norrsken House, with the possibility to work remotely a couple of days per week. You must have a valid work permit for the European Union and Sweden.
We offer pension and insurance, 35 days of vacation, and wellness and training reimbursement. There is also the possibility to participate in a performance-based fund incentive scheme, subject to timing and eligibility.
The role will start as soon as possible, and we review applications on a rolling basis.
