We are now looking for a Junior Accountant who wants to build a strong foundation within finance while gaining exposure across multiple areas of accounting. The opportunity This is a role for someone who wants to work broadly, learn quickly and contribute where it matters. You will be part of the Finance team in Stockholm, supporting functions across accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and group consolidation, with exposure to both the Swedish parent company and international entities.
You will take ownership of your work, collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and develop a strong understanding of core accounting processes in a growing organization. The role offers hands-on experience across everything from daily bookkeeping to group reporting, making it an ideal platform to build practical skills and accelerate your development.
Your responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, reminders, bank transaction postings and customer-related queries
Support accounts payable processes such as invoice handling and supplier communication
Perform general ledger postings and assist with account reconciliations and intercompany transactions
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes
Support audit requests and documentation
Assist with group accounting activities, interim and annual reporting
Collaborate across the Finance team to support ongoing improvements and resolve bottlenecks in closing processes
We hope you have
A degree in accounting, finance or a relevant vocational program
Foundational accounting knowledge from studies, internships or work experience
Practical experience from accounting work is highly valued
Strong Excel skills, including functions such as PivotTables, XLOOKUP or similar
Experience working in an ERP system or confidence in learning new systems quickly
Excellent English communication skills
