About the AssignmentYou will join a team in the automotive industry that develops the software behind climate comfort functions in modern vehicles.
The focus is on creating control software that delivers the right cabin temperature with high reliability and as low power consumption as possible.
In this role, you will work close to both software and vehicle behavior, combining algorithm development, testing and analysis in a technically advanced environment.

Job Description- You will develop, implement and test control algorithms for climate comfort functions.
- You will troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes and drive corrective actions together with cross-functional teams.
- You will design, verify and refine solutions in vehicles and other test environments.
- You will help secure software quality through structured unit testing, code reviews and compliance with development standards such as MISRA and ISO 26262.
- You will work with modern development tools and contribute to a collaborative team where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.
Requirements- You have an M.Sc. in Systems, Control and Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
- You have proven experience in embedded software design and implementation.
- You are proficient in model-based development and automatic code generation using MATLAB/Simulink and TargetLink.
- You are proficient in C, C++ and Python.
- You are familiar with software testing and analysis tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer and/or ETAS INCA/MDA.
- You are familiar with automotive E/E architecture and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN and Ethernet.
- You are familiar with CI and version control tools such as Zuul, Jenkins, Git and Gerrit.
- You have good written and spoken English.
- You have a valid Category B driving licence in Sweden.
- You can complete the required background checks for a sensitive assignment.
Nice to have- Experience working with HVAC systems or similar control systems.
- Knowledge of climate systems.
