VX Fiber is looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to help design and shape the future of our global SaaS platform and telecom solutions.

About the Role

As a Solution Architect at VX Fiber, you’ll play a key role in translating customer needs into structured, scalable, and commercially viable solutions based on our products and services.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams in pre-sales activities, solution design, and customer engagements. The role combines hands-on architecture work with a strong business understanding, where OSS/BSS, system integrations, and digital service enablement are central.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional, international team where collaboration, technical curiosity, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

What you'll do

• Lead solution discovery together with customers through workshops, requirement analysis, and technical discussions
• Design end-to-end architectures across OSS/BSS, service platforms, and network domains
• Translate business and customer requirements into feasible, scalable, and cost-efficient technical solutions
• Define integration architectures (APIs, data flows, system interfaces) across multiple systems
• Contribute to RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including solution descriptions, scope, and assumptions
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure solutions are aligned with delivery capabilities
• Support estimation, scoping, and risk assessment in pre-sales phases
• Align customer needs with product capabilities and roadmap
• Contribute to improving tools, templates, and ways of working within Solution Sales
• Provide technical input to sales material, whitepapers, and go-to-market initiatives

What you Bring

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

• 5–10+ years of experience in telecom, preferably within fiber, ISP, wholesale, or open access networks.
• Hands-on experience with OSS/BSS systems (e.g., provisioning, inventory, CRM, billing, orchestration).
• Experience in solution design, system integration, or technical pre-sales roles.
• Exposure to software development practices (APIs, microservices, system architecture) is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of network engineering concepts (access networks, IP, service delivery) is a strong advantage.

Language

Fluent in English (Swedish is a strong advantage).

Additional languages are a plus, especially German given VX Fiber’s international operations.

About the employment

Type: Permanent, full-time role.

Location: Remote (but must have the right to work within the European Union / Schengen area)

Location office: Stockholm, Umeå.
