Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Data Analyst to support a strategic initiative focused on building a modern data analysis platform. This platform will enable advanced data-driven decision-making through enhanced analytics, visualization, and reporting capabilities while integrating seamlessly with existing systems and data sources.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, API development, and system integration, along with experience working in structured and regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance a scalable data analysis platform to support business intelligence and reporting needs
• Build and maintain robust APIs to facilitate efficient data access and integration with database systems
• Develop, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries and database solutions using SQL Server
• Integrate multiple data sources and systems to ensure seamless data flow across platforms
• Implement and support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements
• Contribute to data architecture, performance optimization, and system reliability improvements
• Support the implementation of data governance and best practices in a regulated environment

Total Years of Experience:

Several years of hands-on experience in data engineering, database development, and system integration

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in SQL programming and SQL Server
• Proven expertise in API development, particularly for database interactions
• Experience with system integration and data pipeline development
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Experience working within the financial sector or government organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in developing enterprise-level data platforms
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven environments

Language Requirements:

• Swedish – Proficient (spoken and written)
• English – Proficient (spoken and written)

Additional Information:

• The assignment will be primarily based at the client’s premises in Stockholm, with limited flexibility for remote work
