Role Overview

The Test Analysis Engineer is responsible for developing test cases, sequences, analysis methods, and conducting detailed technical investigations of test results. The role supports improvements in data quality, test reliability, and technical understanding of system behavior in both Rig and Vehicle environments.

Key Responsibilities

Test Environment & Case Development

• Develop and maintain test environments in rig and vehicle setups.
• Create new test cases, test sequences, analysis methods, and protocols.
• Support execution cadence planning for test activities.
• Perform deep root‑cause investigations for failing tests.

Data Analysis

• Continuously analyze raw test data across multiple systems.
• Identify faults, trends, and performance issues.
• Align findings with testers, developers, and colleagues.
• Produce clear documentation, verdicts, and technical recommendations.

Agile Delivery

• Work according to Agile/Scrum/SAFe.
• Participate in sprint planning, refinements, stand‑ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Deliver documented implementations of Features and Stories in Azure DevOps.
• Provide stable and performance‑verified deliveries based on production‑level data.

Documentation & Demo

• Maintain detailed and structured documentation (DevOps Wiki or code comments).
• Demonstrate completed work, methods, and results to relevant teams or departments.

Required Skills & Experience

Must‑Have

• Experience in system‑level and low‑level test analysis.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Capability to work within complex test environments (rig/vehicle).
• Strong communication and documentation ability.

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency with:
• Python
• CAPL
• DLT, DSA, PD
• CAN / LIN / Ethernet protocol analysis
• Jira/VIRA
• Azure DevOps (work items, documentation)
• Car Weaver / System Weaver
• Beneficial: experience in large‑scale automotive testing environments.
