About the AssignmentYou will join a robotics-focused team working on cloud-based backend services for next-generation connected products.
In this assignment, you will help design, build, and scale robust backend solutions that support distributed robotic applications in a modern AWS environment.
You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues in development and DevOps, with a strong focus on microservices, scalability, quality, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role for you if you enjoy combining backend development with cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure thinking.
Job Description- Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java, primarily using Java 11 or newer.
- Build and evolve distributed systems and microservices for robotic applications.
- Deploy and operate cloud solutions on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to create reliable, scalable, and maintainable services.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support and improve infrastructure as code practices in the development environment.
- Take part in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning to secure high-quality deliveries.
- Work across the full development lifecycle in an agile, cross-functional team.
Requirements- Strong proficiency in Java, preferably Java 11 or newer.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.
- Experience building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English.
- Ability to work on-site three days per week.
Nice to have- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
