The opportunity

We are looking for a TechOps Specialist with strong interest in networking to join our Network Control team in Västerås. You will work with our private cloud based on Broadcom/VMware technologies and collaborate closely with colleagues across Cloud Infrastructure and Service.

How you’ll make an impact

• Design, configure and operate network components including switches, firewalls, VPN, NAT and NIDS.
• Operate and develop our private cloud built on vSphere, Cloud Director and NSX-T.
• Manage Linux and Windows servers as well as Omnissa Horizon VDI environments.
• Support and develop network‑integrated storage based on NetApp solutions.
• Handle tickets, incidents and changes in ServiceNow.
• Contribute to cybersecurity areas such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443 and NIS2.
• Document network designs, configurations and operational procedures.

Your background

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and firewall principles.
• Experience with Linux/Windows administration and interest in operations.
• Curiosity about VMware technologies such as vSphere, Cloud Director and NSX‑T.
• Scripting or automation familiarity (Bash, PowerShell).
• Good communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus).
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization, monitoring or storage is a merit.
• Certifications such as Network+, CCNA/CCNP or VCP‑NV are valuable but not required.
