• Lead and develop the Group Finance organisation, with responsibility for Swedbank’s consolidated financial and sustainability reporting.
• Ensure high quality, timely and transparent external disclosures aligned with IFRS, capital and regulatory frameworks.
• Strengthen and oversee financial governance, internal controls and reporting assurance across the Group.
• Partner closely with the CFO, senior leadership, auditors and regulators.
• Serve as Business Portfolio Owner for the finance IT landscape, securing robust and reliable systems, driving development priorities and managing lifecycle and maintenance planning in close collaboration with the CFO Office Portfolio Owner and Group IT.
• Drive data quality, master data governance and modern reporting practices.
• Build a collaborative and high performing finance community across Business Areas, Product Areas and subsidiaries.
What is needed in this role:• Extensive senior leadership experience from Group Finance, Financial Control or External Reporting in a regulated financial services environment.
• Deep expertise in IFRS and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g. Basel/EBA).
• A strong track record of designing and leading governance and control environments for financial and sustainability reporting.
• Confidence in engaging with auditors, regulators, the CFO, CEO and Board.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and confidently in English, proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
Solid data and digital fluency, including experience with finance platforms and data governance.
A relevant academic degree: certifications such as CPA/ACCA/CFA are an advantage.
