Regulatory & Financial Risk is a team within risk and regulatory advisory that in Sweden consists of approximately 50 employees and works together with our Nordic and European colleagues as advisors to several of the Nordic region’s most influential companies. The team, which is a part of our Strategy, Risk & Transaction Advisory offering (SRTA), is growing and we are therefore looking for an experienced consultant to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden.
As a member of the team, you will work on complex and challenging projects across credit, capital, and regulatory reporting. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow by using the practice’s sophisticated tools and methodologies, whilst having the opportunity to build and maintain meaningful client relationships.
Key responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in delivering diverse projects, supporting junior team members, building client relationships, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to expand your professional network. Experience from consulting is therefore highly meriting.
You will work within project teams to provide expert advisory services to our clients. Your responsibilities may include supporting our clients in projects related to Financial Risk Management, which includes:
· Design, development, and implementation of risk policies, procedures, and strategies across various financial risk types, including credit, market, and liquidity risks.
· Risk modelling and validation, as well as model risk management.
· Comprehensive end-to-end credit risk management and control.
· Capital management and stress testing.
· Asset-liability management strategies and models.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher from relevant field such as economics, engineering or computer/data science
· 10+ years of experience from the financial service industry in the field of risk, regulation, and compliance from a leading consulting firm or a quantitative risk management function in a financial institution.
· Experience of working with the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) as well as ICAAP.
· Experience of credit risk processes and models.
· Experience in risk stress testing for larger multinational European Banks
· Experience of working towards large multinational European banks in an international context.
· Programming skills (C#, SAS, VBA, Python, R) are a strong plus
· Fluent in spoken and written English. Swedish is a plus
· Willing to be flexible with work travel
