About the AssignmentYou will take a hands-on lead role in software quality within a connected product development environment in the automotive sector.
This is a system-level assignment where you help improve quality outcomes, delivery predictability, and risk reduction across teams, suppliers, tools, and ways of working.
You will work close to product teams and stakeholders to turn data and analysis into concrete improvements.
The assignment combines strategic quality work with operational follow-up, and gives you real influence over how quality is measured, prioritized, and strengthened across a complex software landscape.
Job Description- Lead data-driven quality improvements and drive investigations from analysis to actionable outcomes.
- Identify root causes behind quality issues and break them down into risks, gaps, and improvement areas.
- Improve test effectiveness, automation signal quality, and the reliability of CI/CD feedback.
- Use targeted quality assurance methods to strengthen verification coverage, testability, ownership, and handling of technical debt.
- Analyze software quality KPIs, define improvement actions, and follow up on progress across product areas.
- Perform gap and risk analysis, including fault clustering, defect-pattern analysis, and identification of code hotspots.
- Maintain a unified improvement backlog, align overlapping initiatives, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Provide objective, data-based recommendations for release readiness.
- Support teams in applying established ways of working and contribute to improvements in documentation and practices.
- Participate in cross-functional forums to align verification responsibilities, quality topics, and test strategies.
Requirements- Strong background in software quality engineering, continuous improvement, and system-level quality ownership.
- Experience with CI/CD, automation, defect analysis, and test strategy.
- Ability to analyze complex quality issues and drive investigations to clear, actionable outcomes.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and aligning teams around quality improvements.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to work with quality KPIs, risk analysis, and structured follow-up of improvement initiatives.
- Ability to complete required background checks for a sensitive assignment.
- Fluent English.
