Production Manager
Location: Saltsjö-Boo, Stockholm
Employment Type:
80% of a fulltime position (4 days per week)
Salary:
20 000 gross salary (for 80% employment - 25 000 full time equivalent)
Frank & Maggie’s is a young, female-founded company making premium, homemade-quality dog food.
All our meals are cooked from scratch in our own production kitchen in Saltsjö-Boo.
We are now looking for a hands-on Production Manager to take ownership of our daily production operations and help us scale in a structured, high-quality way.
About the role
As Production Manager, you will have overall responsibility for our production – from raw ingredients to finished customer orders.
This is a hands-on role where you are actively involved partly in the cooking and packing, while also overseeing planning, coordination, documentation and quality.
You will play a key role in ensuring that everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and according to our standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Production & Quality
- Hands-on participation in production as needed
- Overall responsibility for production flow, volumes, quality, and accuracy
Planning & Purchasing
- Planning and overseeing daily and weekly production
- Ordering raw materials, receiving supplier deliveries, and ensuring stock control and minimal waste
Documentation
- Responsible for documentation related to the production including raw material receiving log, batch log, procurement and planning log, Chemical and Microbiological Analyses of Finished Products (Eurofins)
Inventory
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished products, with weekly review and updates
Packing & Fulfilment
- Ownership of customer order packing and fulfilment throughout the week
Operations
- Improving routines, workflows, and documentation as the company grows
- Acting as a key point of responsibility within the production team

- Structured, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
- Hands-on and not afraid to step into production when needed
- Calm, solution-oriented, and reliable in a fast-growing environment
- A team player who enjoys working in a small, close-knit team
(And if you love dogs – that’s a big plus!)
Requirements & Merits
Language
- English (required)
- Swedish (strong merit)
Experience
- Experience from food production, kitchens, manufacturing, or operations
- Previous responsibility for planning, coordination, or operations is a strong merit
Driving license
- B license is a plus (ownership of a car is even more a plus!)
Working hours & location

Weekdays, approximately 07:
30–16:30/8:00-17:00 incl.
1 hour lunch break (8 hours working day)
- Production kitchen located in Saltsjö-Boo, Stockholm
- Fixed-term contract with role-based salary
