Your role

In the role of Technology Analyst, you will interface with key business and client stakeholders and apply your business & technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. You will work closely with rest of the team in a Cross Functional Team consisting of architect, system designer, developers, maintenance team and testers. You will play an important role in managing Application Maintenance and Support of one of the business critical applications along with any development or enhancements of the application.

As part of Application Maintenance and Support, you will play an important role in ensuring the application availability. You will be responsible for proactive maintenance ensuring application is stable, no batch failures, identify and report any potential threats to application, help avoid incidents, suggest improvements towards long term maintainability and stability of the application. You will also be responsible for reactive maintenance in handling incidents, report and collaborate with third party vendors in resolving the incidents. Help address any batch failures and discuss and report the status and/or next steps with business or system owners. You will ensure all applicable application maintenance and operations documents are maintained with latest information.

As part of Development and Enhancement, you will play an important role in creating the high-level design artefacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation and warranty. You will also be invited to write or help with requirements based on Swedish Occupational Pension skills and application’s business roadmap.

Required

· 7+ years of hands-on experience in application development, working across large-scale enterprise environments.

· Strong domain expertise in the Insurance sector, with specialized knowledge in Motor Insurance processes and operations.

· Proficient in Microsoft • NET technologies including VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, MVVM, WCF, and REST APIs.

· Hands-on experience developing and configuring WCF Web Services for distributed enterprise applications.

·

· Exposure to production maintenance and support operations, including incident logging, prioritization, SLA tracking, ServiceNow workflows, root cause analysis, and resolution.

· Strong expertise in observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk, using them for monitoring, log/trace analysis, performance diagnostics, and rapid root‑cause identification in distributed systems.

· Experienced in Test-Driven Development (TDD) using MSTest/Xunit and mocking frameworks like MOQ and Rhino Mocks.

· Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2019, including writing and optimizing complex stored procedures aligned with business rules.

· Ability to prepare well-structured design artifacts, technical documentation, and solution diagrams.

· Experienced in engaging with business users for requirement elicitation, clarification, coordination, and solution walkthroughs.

· Proactive in suggesting technical improvements to enhance system performance and maintainability.

· Strong team player, capable of working effectively in Cross-Functional Teams (CFT).

· Well-versed in Global Delivery Models, collaborating with onsite/offshore teams.

· Ability to lead and mentor small development teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring timely delivery of tasks.

· Experience working in SAFe Agile environments, participating in PI Planning, Scrum ceremonies, and iterative delivery cycles.

· Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, delivery automation, and test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

· Leading the development team by recommending solution architecture, design, development, testing as per the enterprise architecture road map and suggestion.

· Requirement gathering, estimation and work planning

· Participate in creating an implementation plan as per the project level quality plan and work on go live activities

· Respond to production issues, arrive at a solution with inputs from the stakeholders.

· Build repository of knowledge for higher efficiency and effectiveness

· Leading offshore and onsite teams
