Role – Technology Manager

Role

In the role of Technology Manager, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in developing an IDP, which will be used by multiple teams to integrate their systems in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

· Requirement gathering, estimation and work planning

· Participate in creating an implementation plan as per the project level quality plan and work on go live activities

· Respond to production issues, arrive at a solution with inputs from the stakeholders.

· Build repository of knowledge for higher efficiency and effectiveness

· Solution Implementation with Security and Quality in mind

· Mentor and guide team members to make them productive at the earliest.

· Work as an individual contributor and manage or lead a team as the need arises.

Required

· Minimum 20+ years of hands-on experience in application development in Java Enterprise.

· Extensive experience in integrating various systems using Apache Camel.

· Spring boot and Quarkus experience.

· Experience in Apache Kafka Streams development

· Experience in code generation, automation using

1. AST parsers

2. Velocity templates

3. Mustache templates

· Experience in tools creation and packaging them as products

· Exposure to Confluent Kafka

· Extensive experience in data serialization techniques using AVRO and JSON

· Familiar with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI

· Experience in performance tuning including performance testing and analysis using

1. JFR

2. Neoload

3. Jmeter

· Familiar with JDK 21, JDK 25

· Familiar with Helm, Terraform, ArgoCD etc

· Familiar with MongoDB, JSON

· Familiar with OCI / Docker and OpenShift / Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies.

· Extensive knowledge and debugging of TLS including mTLS.

· Exposure to monitoring tools – Splunk, Dynatrace including OpenTelemetry

· Experience in resilience patterns including the usage of Hystrix

· Knowledge on CI/CD, Delivery pipeline, test automation

· Good communication in English

Preferred

· Experience with Enterprise Integration patterns.

· Dev Ops experience with tools – GIT, Jacoco, SonarQube, Azure DevOps

· Experience working with Architects, Business analysts and designing solutions for service layer

· Knowledge of estimation techniques for task/project estimation

· Experience working in SAFe Agile

· Any UI frameworks like Angular, React, D3js etc.
