Primary Care at the Heart of Swedish Healthcare
Region Dalarna is transforming its healthcare system towards modern, patient-centred primary care, where multidisciplinary teams work together to provide accessible and high-quality care close to the patient.
Our health centres typically serve 10,000-15,000 registered patients and offer a wide range of services including preventive care, chronic disease management and acute consultations.
Your Role
As a GP you will be a central part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of:
.physicians
.nurses
.physiotherapists
.psychologists
.occupational therapists
.other healthcare professionals
Your work will include:
.consultations with patients with acute and chronic conditions
.diagnosis, treatment and follow-up
.collaboration with specialist care when needed
.participation in primary care on-call services
.supervision and mentoring of resident doctors
.involvement in the continuous development of primary care services

Qualifications required
.Licensed physician
.Specialist qualification in Family Medicine
.Experience working in primary care
.EU/EEA citizenship
.English proficiency at CEFR level B2 or higher
.Can provide strong references from previous employment
