Arbetsbeskrivning

Stena Line is looking for a Core Technology Lead to own the infrastructure, cloud, and platform services that power our core business and digital services. You’ll ensure technology is reliable, efficient, and aligned with business priorities, while identifying opportunities for improvement and modernization. From day-to-day operations to new digital initiatives, you will act as the bridge between business and technology, guiding infrastructure and core services to support both operational reliability and long-term digital goals. Working with teams across the business, Digital, Group IT, and external partners, you’ll help ensure our platforms and services are reliable, scalable and continuously improving. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technology ownership, collaboration, and shaping a role in a fast-moving organization. Some of your key responsibilities: - Own and govern the business perspective for all core infrastructure, cloud, and platform services, ensuring they align with Stena Line’s digital strategy and needs. - Define service expectations, quality measures, and success criteria while ensuring compliance with architecture, cybersecurity, and governance standards. - Partner with Group IT, Digital teams, and external partners to ensure stable, resilient, and predictable service delivery. - Lead and coordinate service changes, improvements, and transitions, managing stakeholders, impacts and escalations. - Monitor service and provider performance and govern cloud usage for secure, cost-efficient, and consistent adoption. - Drive modernization, automation, and platform improvements, addressing technical debt and lifecycle risks to continuously evolve core services. - Represent Stena Line’s priorities in planning, roadmap, and decision forums, communicating clearly on service impacts, risks, and improvements. What you will experience: This is a new role in our organization, giving you the chance to shape the function, create something uncharted, and drive meaningful improvements. You will have visible impact across Stena Line’s operations, including our ships and customer-facing systems. Based in our Gothenburg office, this role follows an office-first approach, allowing you to work closely with the Architecture & Technology team consisting of 12 colleagues, driving the Enterprise Architecture and Technology development. As a Stena Line employee in Sweden, we offer you an additional benefits package consisting of travel discounts, health allowance, well-being activities, access to a benefits portal, and much more. Who you are Your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. Regardless of your role, welcoming, caring and reliable guides you in your everyday work and the challenges you face. We believe you are a forward-thinking and collaborative professional who can work across organizational boundaries and manage diverse stakeholders. You have strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage both technical and business audiences, and enjoy taking ownership of initiatives from start to finish. Qualifications: - Strong background in IT service management with a focus on infrastructure, cloud or platform operations. - Broad understanding of hybrid infrastructure environments and cloud platform services. - Ability to analyze and challenge service performance, cost data and operational risk information. - Familiarity with ITIL processes, lifecycle management and enterprise architecture principles. - Experience working with multi-provider operating models, ideally within shared IT service ecosystems. - Experience with cloud governance, infrastructure lifecycle management and operational platforms. - Relevant education and/or equivalent professional experience in IT or service management. Interested?  This is a full-time, permanent position based in Gothenburg within our Digital / Architecture & Technology department. To apply, please register your profile and send in your CV in English as soon as possible but no later than March 29, 2022. We are having an ongoing selection, so do not wait with your application.
