Assignment Overview

We are looking for an Automation Engineer

What you will work on

• Take technical ownership of ABB 800xA systems in process and Life Science environments
• Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and support operational continuity
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, and QA/QC teams
• Prepare and update automation technical documentation per client standards
• Participate in FAT/SAT, validation, IQ/OQ, and change management activities
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP5, and ATEX-classified environment requirements

What you bring / Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience with ABB 800xA in process industry
• Strong knowledge of AC 800M, S800/S900 I/O, safety architectures, and redundancy
• Understanding of 800xA Safety High Integrity and IEC 61508/61511 standards
• Experience with industrial networks (PROFIBUS/PROFINET, Modulebus) and OPC communication
• Experience in GMP, GAMP5, and ATEX-classified environments
• Experience in validation, IQ/OQ, FAT/SAT, and documentation
• Understanding of process industries, preferably chemical or solvent processes
• Previous work experience in GMP or Life Science environments
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fluent Swedish and English communication skills (spoken and written)
