About the AssignmentYou will take a leading role in developing advanced mechanical solutions for processing equipment across the full product lifecycle, from concept development and R&D to detailed engineering, manufacturing support, installation, and commissioning.
The assignment is set in a technically advanced industrial environment where performance, hygiene, reliability, and manufacturability are central.
This is a senior role with broad responsibility for mechanical architecture, close collaboration across engineering disciplines, and the opportunity to contribute both strategically and hands-on.
Job Description- Lead the development of advanced mechanical solutions for processing equipment throughout the full lifecycle.
- Drive the mechanical architecture and ensure designs meet performance, hygienic, and reliability standards.
- Create and review 3D CAD designs in Inventor for complex mechanical equipment.
- Perform calculations, prepare specifications, and evaluate design concepts through theoretical and practical testing.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, welding, and assembly.
- Support manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and robust solutions.
- Act as a technical mentor and contribute to high quality standards and structured ways of working.
Requirements- Strong experience leading advanced mechanical design work across the full lifecycle of processing equipment.
- Expertise in mechanical architecture, detailed engineering, and manufacturing support.
- High proficiency in 3D CAD, specifically Inventor.
- Experience performing complex calculations and preparing specifications for mechanical equipment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturability, welding, and assembly processes.
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning in an industrial environment.
- High proficiency within LFS equipment and working processes.
- Structured, proactive, and adaptable way of working.
- Ability to complete a drug test before the assignment starts.
