This Position reports to: Dept. manager, PNTI - Factory IT & Digitalization.

Are you ready to shape the future of robotics production? ABB Robotics is seeking an experienced Production Preparer within SAP PP to join our Factory IT team. You will work in a social, ambitious and supportive environment where production, digital systems and continuous improvement come together.

In this role, you directly contribute to our order‑driven manufacturing of industrial robots, consisting of both robot arms and control cabinets. You will collaborate closely with production technicians, system administrators and Power BI specialists to ensure efficient workflows. As we prepare to move to our new 65,000 m² Campus Robotics and transition from SAP ECC to SAP S4Hana, your expertise will help us build the next generation of production processes.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare input material and operation lists for production orders in SAP, module PP
• Identify, document and improve processes for production preparation in SAP PP
• Drive continuous improvements of routines and workflows within SAP
• Create training materials and train production engineers in routing creation
• Support warehouse management activities in SAP WM/EWM when required

Your location will be Västerås. To start with in our office at Finnslätten, and in a year or so we are planning to move to our new build campus Robotics.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a production preparer in SAP PP
• Technical education or equivalent professional experience
• Background in production preparation or the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a solution‑oriented mindset
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Meritorious: Experience in system development, transitions or improvements, and/or Power BI knowledge
