As a Heavy Equipment Machinery Mechanic, you work with large, advanced machines used in: Construction Agriculture Transport Industrial and green technology sectors Your tasks include: Servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy machinery Troubleshooting using diagnostic tools Working with engines, hydraulics and electrical systems Ensuring machines are safe, efficient and ready for operation You learn how machines work from the inside out - not just how to operate them. About the Programme The Heavy Equipment Machinery Mechanic education is a four year vocational programme recognised within the Danish education system and aligned with European standards, designed to prepare you directly for work in modern industry. The programme combines: Practical workshop training Relevant technical theory Paid internships with Danish companies During the programme, you will work with: Engines and power systems Hydraulics and electronics Diagnostics and fault detection Safety, documentation and sustainability From day one, the focus is on learning by doing and becoming industry-ready. Structure and Duration The programme consists of: A basic course focusing on systems, service and fault detection A main course, combining school periods and paid internships Altogether, the programme leads to a fully recognised Danish vocational qualification and prepares you for skilled technical jobs.
