We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead our systems engineering team in the Engineering department which is part of providing the Ground Station Services. You will build, coach, plan and develop a high-performing team, ensure clear priorities and ways of working, and uphold high technical and delivery standards. You will report to the Head of Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven leadership experience in managing engineering or technical teams, with the ability to build, motivate, and develophigh performinggroups.
• Solid background in systems engineering or a closely related technical domain, with the capability to review designs, guide discussions, and uphold high technical standards. Preferably experience in both software and hardware systems integration.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with demonstrated experience in growing talent, supporting onboarding, and professional development.
• Ability to drive clarity and structure, ensuring priorities, processes, and ways of working are well-defined and consistently applied across the team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in different teams.
• Experience working in an environment with high technical delivery expectations, ensuring quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the Systems Engineering team, ensuring the group is staffed, supported, and motivated, with clear expectations and a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee technical quality and engineering excellence, providing guidance in system design, solution, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Drive structured ways of working, establishing and maintaining clear processes, priorities, and methods that support efficient delivery and high technical standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and competence development, ensuring the organization continually builds and maintains the right skills and capacity.

LOCATION

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our office in either Solna or Kiruna.
