Would you like to work with PLM solutions in a global product company? We are now looking for a senior engineer who wants to take on both customizations and system maintenance of our Windchill and Thingworx environments. Come and join us at our HQ in Lund! Your future team PLM & Engineering systems is a group within Axis Development Services. We support our product development teams and projects with technical specialist knowledge in various areas such as PLM systems & development tools. We are a total of 14 committed individuals with deep knowledge in our respective fields with a common ambition to support Axis with our knowledge and experience. What you'll do here as PLM Engineer? You will work with configurations, adaptation, customizations and system administration of the systems on an enterprise level. You are a part of technical discussions with the IT-infrastructure department to fulfill the overall system requirements regarding performance, security and availability. You will interact with the super-users in different departments and help them with different technical tasks and challenges. You will also be a part of the long-term planning for the systems and recommend solutions for different departments and user/business cases. Who are you? Axis uses Windchill and Thingworx as PDM/PLM-systems and we are now searching for a senior engineer for these environments. The person we are looking for has extensive knowledge of server-side technologies and customizations of Windchill. You can see and are able to interpret business needs into functions and adaptations of the systems. Development of Java code and scripts to handle these requirements are a part of your toolbox and you have good knowledge of web technologies and databases. You have worked with installing and updating Windchill and Thingworx and can take part in tracking and solving system errors and performance issues. You have an university degree in software/system development and several years' experience of the Windchill platform. Thingworx system knowledge is a strong plus.
