About the position

Perido is now looking for a Group Accountant to join our client, an exciting and forward-thinking company in the automotive industry. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, global finance team with high-impact assignments. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

Working closely with colleagues across multiple entities, you will contribute to the preparation of financial reporting and support the delivery of high-quality financial information in accordance with international standards and regulatory requirements, including reporting obligations for a U. S. - listed company.

As a Group Accountant, you will support the group accounting and consolidation processes while collaborating with finance teams across the organization. The role combines operational reporting work with opportunities to contribute to improvements in financial processes and systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the monthly, quarterly and annual group closing processes, including preparation and validation of consolidation entries
• Collaborating with subsidiaries and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions
• Performing financial analysis and preparing supporting documentation for internal and external reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of external IFRS financial reports, including notes and disclosures for quarterly and annual filings
• Maintaining data in the consolidation system and ensuring consistency across group entities
• Contributing to the development and documentation of group accounting policies and processes
• Participating in projects related to group accounting, reporting improvements and system enhancements
• Coordinating with auditors and assisting with the delivery of required audit documentation and explanations

Qualifications:

• A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• Approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within a global corporate accounting function or from an audit firm
• A solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards and group consolidation principles
• Experience preparing financial reports and working with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
• Experience working with consolidation systems (experience with AARO is considered a strong advantage)
• Exposure to SOX compliance and reporting requirements for U. S. - listed companies is considered a plus
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2026-12-31, Start ASAP.
