About the AssignmentThis role is part of a Group Accounting team in an international organization with complex reporting needs.
You will help ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting and support external reporting, including SEC-related filings for a U.
S.
- listed company.
The assignment offers broad collaboration across finance functions and global subsidiaries, with opportunities to improve reporting processes, systems, and accounting policies.
Job Description- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual group closing processes.
- Prepare, validate, and follow up on consolidation entries.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries and internal stakeholders to secure timely and accurate financial submissions.
- Perform financial analysis and prepare supporting documentation for internal and external reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of external IFRS financial reports, including notes and disclosures.
- Maintain data in the consolidation system and help ensure consistency across group entities.
- Contribute to group accounting policies, process documentation, and reporting improvements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide audit support, evidence, and explanations.
Requirements- University degree in Business Administration with a major in finance or accounting, or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within a global corporate accounting function or from an audit firm.
- Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards and familiarity with group consolidation principles.
- Experience in preparing financial reports and working with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks.
- Fluency in English for both written and spoken communication.
Nice to have- Experience working with consolidation systems.
- Experience with AARO.
- Exposure to SOX compliance and reporting requirements for U.
S.
- listed companies.
