As Financial Controller, you will have the task of planning, implementing, and analyzing financial statements for Stena Line's routes and legal entities in the Stena Line Group. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into an international organization where you will work on a variety of different tasks in a complex environment. You will be a part of a group responsible for operations in Scandinavia, Germany, the Baltics, the UK, and the Netherlands. We strive for a smooth closing and reporting process by distributing tasks among team members. Some of your key responsibilities: - Development of routines and processes - Ensuring that we comply with local legislation and the Group's accounting principles - Provide support and expertise to the business - Support and education to other departments within both Finance and our lines - Internal control What you will experience You will be a part of a team of 11, and you will report to our group accounting manager. The finance department is organized as a Shared Service Center (SSC) where the Accounting department is included. We work as one Finance department which means that we do have work that covers different legal entities as well as other departments. Based in our Gothenburg office, this role follows an office-first approach, allowing you to work closely with a collaborative team. Qualifications: - M.Sc in Business and Economics - Work experience from accounting, preferably from an audit firm or international company - Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken - Very good knowledge in Excel - Knowledge in IFRS and statutory reporting is meritorious Our business system is JD Edwards and we are reporting to the group in the consolidation system Aaro.
