Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Infotainment Function Owner to support the development and validation of infotainment systems for the European automotive market. The role focuses on ensuring that infotainment features align with European customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and market needs while maintaining strong collaboration with global development teams.
The selected professional will act as the European functional representative, working closely with development teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that infotainment features are validated, compliant, and optimized for the EU market. This role also involves monitoring delivered functionality, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to product planning and feature prioritization.
Key responsibilities include evaluating infotainment performance in real vehicle environments, supporting usability validation activities, and ensuring strong cooperation with testing teams and UX/HMI specialists to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the European representative for infotainment functionality, coordinating closely with global development teams and external suppliers.
Ensure that infotainment systems and features are developed in accordance with European regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and market expectations.
Evaluate infotainment features in vehicle environments to confirm that functionality, performance, and usability meet regional requirements.
Analyze the delivered system capabilities and highlight any discrepancies between the implemented functionality and the expectations of the European market.
Define market-driven functional requirements and recommend region-specific adaptations based on customer insights, legal considerations, and product strategy.
Collaborate with UX/HMI specialists and infotainment testing teams to strengthen validation activities, usability testing, and overall customer experience.
Use insights from customer feedback, quality data, and market analysis to initiate change requests and improvement initiatives.
Contribute to discussions related to feature prioritization and product roadmap planning with a focus on European market needs and compliance obligations.
Support the validation and monitoring of infotainment domains such as navigation services, connectivity features, radio functionality, and digital services.
Provide structured updates on progress, priorities, and potential risks within the development process.
Total Years of Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive infotainment systems.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:
