About the position
As Information/Cyber Security Manager at Abion, you will take primary ownership of the company’s network security and security engineering environment.
Today, the security environment is stable and operational — but the ambition is to move to proactive and structured security maturity.
This means strengthening threat prevention, segmentation, logging, monitoring and risk mitigation processes.
You will not only maintain and optimise existing security platforms, but also define standards, improve governance, and lead security-focused improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with senior leadership, internal engineering teams, vendors and external partners to ensure that Abion’s infrastructure is secure, resilient and aligned with business requirements.
Your primary responsibilities
About you
To succeed in this role, you are a senior security engineer who has owned and driven projects to improve security environments.
You have a deep technical understanding and are confident within firewall platforms and network security architecture, while you also understand governance, risk and commercial impact.
You are proactive in identifying vulnerabilities and structured in closing them.
You communicate clearly and confidently with both technical teams and senior stakeholders, and you can present recommendations in a commercially credible way.
As a person, you are prestigeless, accountable and improvement-oriented.
You understand that security is both a technical discipline and a business enabler.
