Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Principal Engineer – Electrical Engineering

What you will work on

• Preparing and reviewing substation engineering documentation, including single line diagrams, protection diagrams, and interlocking diagrams
• Developing AC and DC drawings, calculations, control and protection panel drawings, IED configurations, cabling documentation, and bills of materials
• Evaluating supplier proposals and ensuring delivered equipment or services meet technical and functional requirements
• Providing technical support during pre-FAT and FAT stages, including installation and commissioning activities
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation within the defined scope of deliverables
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project management, design teams (Lead, Primary, Civil), commissioning teams, planners, quality assurance, and supply chain
• Supporting the delivery of international power infrastructure projects

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience working with high and medium voltage substation engineering
• Strong knowledge of substation control and protection systems
• Experience preparing technical drawings, electrical documentation, and engineering calculations
• Experience evaluating technical supplier proposals and equipment specifications
• Experience supporting FAT, pre-FAT, installation, and commissioning activities
• Experience working with engineering design tools such as Elmaster, E3, or AutoCAD is considered an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in international project environments
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
