Lead and scale Meril Nordic’s end-to-end business operations to enable compliant growth and clinical impact across the Nordic market. This involves optimizing supply chain, tendering, customer operations, and commercial enablement while upholding and providing independent, high-impact oversight and strategic guidance. This guidance ensures Meril Nordic’s long-term value creation, regulatory compliance, and clinical impact in the Nordic medical device market. Upholding fiduciary duties, stakeholder trust, and ethical standards, the lead must also ensure compliance with EU MDR, ISO 13485, and GDPR standards.

Operational Leadership

• Design and implement an integrated operating model across inventory, logistics, and tendering for Nordic markets.
• Ensure audit-ready compliance with EU-MDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and GDPR; maintain QMS linkage and traceability.
• Govern invoice and documentation processes in partnership with Finance, ensuring adherence to Nordic and Indian segment protocols.
• Lead public procurement readiness and tender submissions; monitor contract performance and penalties.
• Drive digital dashboards for KPIs, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strategic Oversight

• Provide independent judgement on strategy, budgets, and risk appetite; monitor delivery against approved KPIs.
• Uphold governance standards under Swedish Companies Act and Board Charter; oversee compliance and ethical conduct.
• Support leadership succession planning and evaluate executive performance.
• Safeguard stakeholder trust through transparent communication and regulatory adherence.
• Delivery of approved strategy and KPIs; risk profile within thresholds.
• Zero material compliance breaches; timely remediation of audit findings.
• Strengthened stakeholder trust (hospitals, regulators, partners).
• Follow and execute effectively the Meril vision and drive success across the region.

Profitability Focus:

• Optimise cost-to-serve and working capital efficiency (inventory turns, freight cost reduction).
• Implement margin-enhancing initiatives (pricing discipline, tender profitability analysis, cost control).
• Partner with Finance to track P&L performance, forecast accuracy, and EBITDA improvement.
