You will join a highly skilled electronics and software environment and play a central role in building scalable, high-performing, and safety-focused systems from concept to production readiness.
Job Description- Define and develop system architecture for electrical and electronic systems across hybrid and electric powertrain solutions.
- Translate product and customer needs into tailored system requirements for new products.
- Ensure integration, scalability, and seamless interaction between subsystems and ECUs.
- Collaborate with software component owners, hardware developers, and specialists in system safety, cyber security, and EMC.
- Align design specifications with system-level requirements together with ECU and hardware owners.
- Ensure compliance with automotive safety and performance standards, including ISO 26262 and cyber security regulations.
- Address technical challenges related to communication networks, EMC impact, and electrical system topology.
- Drive the industrialization of electrical systems from early concept through production readiness.
- Act as the central technical expert for electrical architecture in dialogue with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements- Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in defining and developing electrical system architecture within the automotive industry.
- Extensive knowledge of ECU design, communication protocols, and industry standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and cyber security regulations.
- Deep technical understanding of EMC challenges, load balancing, and signal interactions within vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across hardware and software disciplines and drive system integration together with component owners and system experts.
Nice to have- Experience with Volvo Cars, AB Volvo, or Geely Group companies.
- A structured and proactive approach to managing complex requirements.
